Whether you're organising a corporate event, Christmas market, festival, funfair, private celebration or large-scale public event, dodgems provide timeless entertainment and an atmosphere that everyone can enjoy.
Traditional Dodgems
Traditional dodgems are a true fairground classic, instantly recognisable for their colourful cars, illuminated surrounds and nostalgic charm.
Often featuring vintage-style bumper cars and classic fairground decoration, these attractions capture the character and atmosphere of the traditional British travelling fairground.
Traditional dodgems are particularly suited to heritage events, vintage-themed celebrations, traditional funfairs and Christmas markets, where their classic appearance adds to the overall experience.
Modern Dodgems
For events seeking a more contemporary attraction, modern dodgems offer the same exciting bumper car experience with updated designs, vibrant lighting and modern styling.
With eye-catching appearances, energetic music and impressive lighting effects, modern dodgem tracks create a lively centrepiece for festivals, corporate events, town celebrations and large-scale entertainment venues.
Both traditional and modern dodgem attractions can be arranged to suit different event settings and requirements, subject to availability.
A Little History of the Dodgems
Dodgem cars have been entertaining generations of fairground visitors for over a century.
The earliest bumper car attractions appeared in the early 20th century, with the famous Dodgem brand becoming established in America during the 1920s.
The attraction quickly grew in popularity, eventually becoming a familiar sight at travelling fairs and amusement parks throughout Britain.
Over the decades, dodgems have evolved from simple early designs into the colourful, illuminated attractions we know today. Despite changes in technology and appearance, the excitement of driving, dodging and bumping into friends and family remains much the same.
Today, both traditional and modern dodgems continue to be among the most iconic attractions on the British fairground.
